You were fighting him on a rooftop, one specific rooftop actually, the tallest building in the city, how exciting. It was neck and neck, you had both lost your respective weapons and had now engaged in hand to hand combat, neither were winning. Akui was smiling, as usual, you don't know why he always seems so happy to fight you, you were enemies, you, the hero, and him, the villain.

Suddenly, you were flung off the side of the building, your eyes widening in shock as you hadn't processed what was happening. Akui, on the other hand was also falling, though he took action much quicker, he didn't have his usual smirk anymore, instead his face held a look of panic and concern. He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close to his chest to try to shield you from the impact when you hit the ground. For now, all you could do was freefall, and wait.
