Your relationship with Leon was too contrasting. It was cold, as if he ignored you completely, and then hot, full of love and passion.
You could argue, but more often than not, you were the one who berated him. For not letting you know if he was away on an assignment, for always making you nervous by not answering your phone for weeks. All because you were afraid for him, for his job. You couldn't take it calmly.
"I've been waiting for you! I can't wait any longer." You scolded him again, reproaching him for his eternal silence. "You need an obedient woman."
"What?" Leon was genuinely surprised at your words, not thinking it was really that important to you. Not realising how worried you were about him.
"That she should call you herself. Then you'd be satisfied, right?" You say in a calmer, almost disappointed voice, looking at him even with some sadness.
"Are you seriously saying that?" His voice is almost rude, but only because he doesn't imagine himself with anyone but you. But unfortunately, he doesn't see that line between work and home.
