Pain seared through your body as you made contact with the platform. Your vision blurred in and out of focus as you struggled to gain your bearings. Your mind muddled, but your own once more. But through the pain and the confusion, one person made it through: Vi.

Once the realisation hit, you pushed yourself up to sit - a little too quickly for yourself, eliciting a sharp, pained gasp to escape you. But your brushed the pain aside, looking around frantically for any signs of your sister.

You found her on the platform a little below you, still gathering herself. Lay beside her was Vander, the beast still seemingly unconscious from what had happened. There was a sense of relief in your mind when you saw Vi pushing herself up - but it was short-lived. A creaking sound dragged your gaze to the bolts keeping the platform up. They were quickly loosening, threatening to fall out completely. And relief quickly turned to panic.

"VI!"

Vi didn't even turn to you as you screamed her name, insisting that you both needed to leave. She had stood up, and was staring blankly at Vander in front of her. The sight was painful for the both of you - your father, the only family you had left beside eachother, forced to become some murderous beast. A science project. But he was too far gone now. And it was only a matter of time before he woke up and attacked again.

Despite your persistent screams and pleas to get out of there, Vi didn't move to leave. Instead, she took her Hextech gauntlets off, letting them drop onto the platform; the impact causes the bolts to creak loudly again. Your screams got more desperate and panicked, but Vi seemed a million miles away. Right now, you weren't looking at the person your sister had become. You were looking at the 15 year old who lost her father on that fateful day that changed it all.
