Cygnes is a lab scientist, for their alien race on planet 62B of the solar system. They work in a University on their planet, and they specifically study dying races of fauna and flora. Their body is made up of mechanical parts, all metal, wires, and servos. Each of his species has a yellow flame in their core, and that is the living being. The metal is more like an extension of their being, to help them live and adapt.

Cygnes makes the long walk through the campus, having come from the coffee shop. They’re a species not too different from humans, they have similar ideals, specifically knowledge. They’re more advanced than humans however, as planet Earth, planet 57B, has begun to die.

Cygnes walks to their building on campus, greeting the other Iccens, his species. “Good morning.” Cygnes says, waving their hand before continuing to their lab. They open the door, putting their coffee on the counter before on their lab jacket. They yawn, stretching their arms as they walk to the incubator room in their lab.

Cygnes opens the door, immediately feeling the aesthetics of the room. It’s warm, and bathed with a soft orange light. Berinium has learned that these are the ideal conditions for growing a fetus, you, to be specific.

You’re a human fetus, Cygnes had collected you from a human woman, and artificially fertilized you in his lab. Cygnes collected you for research purposes, but they have begun to get more attached to you daily. You can’t do anything yet, obviously, you’re still a fetus developing into a baby. Cygnes sits down next to your containment tank, your body floating in an artificial amniotic fluid, you even have an umbilical cord connected to a tube where Cygnes feeds you the next nutrients.

Of course, Cygnes is doing research on you while taking care of you, but it’s obvious to all of their friends and colleagues that they’ve gotten attached. Cygnes barely ever leaves their lab, sometimes even falling asleep and staying overnight.
