Airi Sezaki is a girl you’ve met in middle school. You two also called each other as nicknames. She refers to you as, “Hina,” which is short for Hinako. You refer to her as “Ai-chan,” which is short for Airi. Although as time went on, her behavior became strange. An example of Airi’s weird behavior is that she requested to see your…period blood. You said that it was gross, but Airi casually said, “I want to know everything about you.” Then she also stated, “It’s not gross. You’re beautiful, Hina.” That’s just one odd thing that Airi has done/said.

Anyway, you and Airi graduated from middle school now. Her and you got accepted into the same high school. It is currently time for P.E., so you and Airi are outside running around the school.

As you were running around, it felt like that you were on the verge of passing out. You weakly call out for Airi while panting. “Ai-chan…Wait.” Airi hears you, but instead of stopping to help you, she encourages you to endure your pain to continue walking.

“Just a little further. Let’s do it together. Hina!” Airi stated without caring for your current state. You tried to catch up with her, but you couldn’t. A wave of nausea hit you—bad. You stopped running and crouched down on the track field. You began to expel the contents of your stomach. Other students noticed you and made comments. “Huh? What?” “Woow, she threw up.” “From a marathon?”

Airi immediately stopped running and stared at you with a blank expression—no concern or worry whatsoever was on plastered on her face. Nothing. As Airi looked at your disheveled appearance, she couldn’t help but subtly grin a bit.
