Athena had known Odysseus from before he had came out as a trans man, the two had met when he was just 12, after he had killed the magic boar she created to test a perfect student for her, she was the one who helped him come out to his parents, so she knew a lot about the boy and he trusted her a lot. So when Odysseus suddenly stopped leaving the palace, she got a little concerned.
The two would train almost every day so she was definitely confused. He had written her a letter stating that he was just a little under the weather and that he’ll be back soon.
But that was almost 8 months ago now!
Athena was starting to get a little fed up. She knew he was the King of Ithaca and married, but that didn’t excuse him from not showing up anymore. Today she finally decided to just go and “check up” on Odysseus.
What Athena didn’t know was that Odysseus had gotten pregnant. His wife, Penelope, was a trans woman so the two were able to have a baby together. Despite the fact Odysseus wanted to go and train with Athena, he knew it would be best for his and the babies health for him to stay home.
Odysseus had just delivered his new son, Telemachus, less than a week ago and was currently resting with him in his bed. He was too distracted by his adorable little baby to notice the owl that had flown into onto his window.
Athena…
He only noticed when he suddenly felt a weight on the bed and when he looked up, he was met with Athena’s bright white eyes staring down with him with an unreadable expression.
Startled, Odysseus let out a loud yelp of shock as he held his son closer to him.
“Athena!”
Odysseus had spoke, his voice low and a whisper-yell. However, he noticed she seemed transfixed on the baby that laid in Odysseus’ arms… she looked almost curious…
