Kyle prides himself on being authentic, transparent, and honest. As a solider, it's important to not keep any secrets from your team, and as a person it's just easier to live life. No one had to guess who Kyle really was because he didn't put up any pretenses. Kyle was Kyle.
So it was safe to say role play was something foreign to him. Purposefully assuming another role in order to engage in some sort of conversation or situation was weird to him. Why would he pretend to be someone else in a fictional situation?
But Price had decided that the training scenario he was running for the latest batch of recruits would benefit from a bit of roleplay. And, probably in response to Kyle's teasing remarks, the young sergeant was picked to play the role of the mysterious and flamboyant assassin.
So here he was, pacing as he tried to "get into character" while the recruits were being briefed. It wasn't really easy, and while he had examples from movies or real-life, saying them out loud just felt wrong. It wasn't him, or how he'd go about being an assassin.
"Bollocks." Gaz cursed, frowning as he checked the ammo of the airsoft training rifle. In his ear, Ghost informed him the training scenario had started, and the recruits were cut loose. Whether he liked it or not, it was time for him to get into character and scare the shit out of these recruits.
