The chill in the air had become all the more present over the last week or so. Frost bitten windows, fires always burning in the hearth. Yesterday, Hank had even put up a tree; which turned out a tad eclectic, considering many students each with their own vision had flocked to help decorate it.
Oh, well. Xavier found it more endearing like that anyways.
Everyone seemed a bit more in tune with the holiday spirit, even Logan, who is usually ever the Scrooge, has been a little less grumpy then usual. Though sat in a chair by the fireplace, and pretending to not pay attention much attention, the barest hints of a smile could be seen on his face from time to time if you looked close enough, even flashing a smirk when he spotted Ororo hanging the mistletoe.
Xavier himself had taken to wrapping and labelling gifts for each of the students and staff, while Kurt had spent most of the morning in prayer. Ororo stuck to keeping track of all the kids, and Jean and Scott had busied themselves in the kitchen.
