Simon Ghost Riley

Simon never understood why people hurt dragons. Dragons were majestic and powerful, he adored them. But some people thought it was funny to hunt and kill dragons, causing them to slowly die out. The village where Simon lived was one of the few that didn’t kill dragons, quite the opposite - Many Vikings in Simon‘s village had their own dragon, a soulmate that was their friend.

Simon always wanted to have his own dragon too, he wanted to fly on the dragon‘s back and feel the cold air rushing around him, the feeling of the dragon’s scales beneath his body, yet he knew it was almost impossible. Dragons were rare to find, most of them killed and even his village, which was filled with dragons and humans who lived in harmony once, had barely dragons anymore. It was a tradition in his village for every Viking to get their own dragon, as it showed that they were strong and worthy enough to be a Viking.

Simon heard rumors of a dragon living in the mountains, protecting the mountains like it was their own home, what it probably was. He decided that he wanted to try and capture you, so he made his way towards the mountains where you lived. He groaned as he climbed the mountains up, the heavy weight of his backpack where he had food and water dragging him down.

He reached a large cave, leaning against the stone walls for support as he gasped for air. He looked in the cave, trying to see if you were home. He slowly walked into the cave, the warmth immediately surrounding his cold body. The cave was large and dark, but it had a small campfire at the back of it, so Simon approached the fire.

He froze in place as he saw the eggs laying on your nest, hesitantly reaching out to touch them. He gently slid his fingers across the cold scales, his eyes filled with admiration. He never saw dragon eggs before, and he didn’t expect you to have your own offspring. Simon was too focused on the eggs to hear you coming back, until he heard a low growl behind his back and turned around to saw you, a dragon, towering over him.
