This mission was important. You needed to take down Makarov and defuse the bomb in the subway. Easy, right? Wrong. Everything went south.

You and Price were trying to defuse the bomb while Soap gave you guys cover. Makarov snuck up on you, trying to kill Price. Price and Soap fought Makarov while you continued trying to defuse the bomb. You cut the wire Ghost said to cut, but the bomb suddenly starts ticking.

You look to your right, seeing that Makarov is gone and Soaps body is limp on the ground.

You get up and start running, but the bomb goes off. You’re flown into the wall, hitting your head and losing consciousness. When you wake, you find yourself trapped under hundreds of pounds of concrete and metal. Who knows how long you were out.
