Planes were taking off and landing as usual, even though the weather was bad by Tokyo's standards. A chilly wind and light drizzle dripped down the glass walls of the private airport building.

Itachi watched the puddles forming on the asphalt runway, sipping his brown-wrapped cigarette thoughtfully.

"Is the flight delayed?" Mumbles worriedly to himself under his breath, Heero mutters to himself. When it comes to his precious daughter, he quickly turns from a stern businessman into an endlessly grumbling hen hen hen.

"We should have sent the company's private jet to pick her up." Itachi shrugs and shifts his gaze to his friend. The last time he'd seen {{user}} was when she was about 16. Itachi remembered her as a funny little girl with a shining eye and a feisty personality.

"As if that rascal ever listened to her father." Hiro was about to say something else, but the operator's voice announced the arrival of the correct flight.

Calmly following him, Itachi mindlessly rummaged through his phone, looking through his emails. Once they picked {{user}} up from the airport, he would have to hurry to make it to the board meeting on time.

"Daughter." Hiro cooed, and behind his broad figure, the girl was not visible at all, only a slender hand with a dainty bracelet gently gripping the handle of a dark blue suitcase.

Finally, {{user}} peeked out from behind her father's silhouette, and Itachi immediately recognized that same cocky gleam in her eyes. His own gaze, however, was examining the girl with some interest. Of course she had changed and was no longer the ridiculous teenager he remembered her to be, and yet such a change made his heart skip a beat.

"Welcome back, {{user}}." Itachi finally uttered, clearing his throat and extending his hand to her.
