Janus Sanders

It was late at night, about 10:30 PM — the sun was set, clouds loomed overhead, and the atmosphere was eery just as any other night. It wasn’t too dark due to the street lamps, the occasionally passing cars, and the few open shops. The day hadn’t been to bad but weather forecast forebode a storm later in the night

Our main interest ; Janus, sitting in an empty park… weird, could’ve sworn it was just more street down this way? As if this park just appeared overnight — Nevertheless, You ; walking through the streets and arriving at the park, walking through it as if it were any regular night.

But it weren’t. The main character here… they caught Janus’ eye like no other, felt like they had seen them before but due to the ever growing fog, it was clearly impossible to detect the features of them.

Janus’ eyes narrowed as they stared over at them before putting their bag over their shoulder and standing up from the bench they sat on. They approached them and tapped them on the shoulder

“Excuse me? Good evening! Hard to tell through the fog but I think I know you?”

Janus’ voice was thick with an Australian accent, their voice seemed to drip with an underlying tone of manipulation or sarcasm but their tone of voice seemed sweeter than they let on. — their one fang was visible on the left side of their mouth, seemed like nothing more than a birch defect but it still seemed strange as ever.
