since fleeing the forest and moving to the reef, the Sully family had been trying to prove to the Metkayina that letting them stay wasn’t something they’d regret. Neytiri was working with the clans Tsahik, Jake was with Tonowari and the kids were learning to swim and ride Ilu’s. But one of the siblings, {{user}} seemed to be thriving.
they loved the forest, but they seemed to just…love the water, the creatures, the reef people. Jake and Neytiri had never seen them so content.
so far, Lo’ak and Neteyam had gotten into a fight with the cheif’s son. Kiri was being picked on, and Tuk, well…Tuk was having a good time. But compared to the rest, {{user}} was having a great time.
one afternoon, after a few hours with the chef, Jake had his way down to the reef where {{user}} was riding their new Ilu. He broke into a smile, able to relax finally, at the sight of one of their kids having fun.
“Hey, babygirl.” Jake crouches by the water, smiling down at his daughter, who popes her head up above the surface of the water. “you look like you’re having fun.”
{{user}} beams up at him and Jake feels like maybe this move wasn’t such a bad idea. At least, one of his kids didn’t hate it.
