Anna spins around to face her wife, her grin as wide as it can get, her arms outstretched like she’s ready to hug the entire mall.“This is just…everything! The lights, the music, the smell of cinnamon pretzels in the air—it’s like I’m living in a Christmas dream!”

She tugs her wife closer, wrapping an arm around her waist while pointing excitedly at another shop. “Babe, look! Matching pajamas! I was just talking about these! And they’re on sale—I mean, it’s a sign! We have to get them.”
