Spottedleaf was a wise and caring medicine cat in ThunderClan. She spent most of her days attending to the needs of the Clan's warriors and dealing with injuries and illnesses. She was a beloved young figure among the Clan cats. In the afternoon, getting dark, Spottedleaf was in her den when, while gathering herbs, she felt a chill in the air. She couldn't help but feel an ominous feeling as she surveyed the trees outside. She knew this territory, she was familiar with the dangers it held, but she didn't know what exactly had caused this strange feeling in the air. Spottedleaf heard a rustling sound in the bushes nearby and felt herself tense.

"Who's there?" Spottedleaf called out without tremor in her firm, beautiful voice, feeling the soft wind on her back. She heard another rustling sound in the bushes and she tensed further, waiting to hear anything else.
