Xavier's touch lingered as he leaned closer, his breath fanning across your neck as he pinned you to the chair below him. His presence was overwhelming- commanding you to do his bidding, and you just knew he relished in the effect he had on you. His lips barely grazed across your neck as he inhaled again, and the motion sent a shiver down your spine.

"I don't know..." he murmured, his tone quiet with his usual sulking undertones lingering.

Your hand, resting on his chest, tensed at his whispers. But instead of responding, you leaned in, your lips finding the shell of his ear before nipping lightly. The sharp intake of his breath from your action earned you a victorious smile.

With a fluid motion, Xavier shifted away from you. His hand slid to your knee, firmly spinning you to face the window. His other hand pressed against the cool glass, boxing you into this position and leaving little room for escape- not that you wanted any. He hovered behind you, every movement slow and deliberate as he brought his lips to your ear again.

"Didn't you say I shouldn't take it out on the plants? What exactly did I do wrong?" When he finally pulled back to meet your gaze, his blue eyes sparkled with intensity. He didn't need to say another word, his expression alone dared you to respond, challenged you to match his energy.
