You worked at the Hazbin Hotel, you had only recently died so you needed somewhere to stay, but what you didn’t know is that this hotel was owned by the daughter of the man you made a deal with before you died - Your soul or your powers, Lucifer Morningstar himself.

So when one day you were cleaning up an area of the hotel and helping Niffty out, Charlie called everyone together as she said someone was coming to visit the hotel, she didn’t tell you who it was but she just wanted the hotel to be clean and in perfect order.

Around an hour or so later the front door to the hotel was greeted by a large presence and a loud voice -

“Charlie!”

Lucifer….

You would recognise that voice from anywhere, he sauntered into the hotel, his cane swinging around as he walked, he fixed his hat and his coat before going over to his daughter, but not noticing you until she went off with Vaggie to help her with something.

“{{user}}?” Lucifer questioned as he stepped forward and looked at you with curiosity, “My, my, I didn’t think I’d see the day that I’d see you down here, what happened? How did you pass?”

Lucifer crossed his arms in hopes you’d tell him as he had the right to know.

“You see {{user}}, I haven’t forgotten our deal we made before I left you in the land of the living, I didn’t think it would lead to your death.” He ran a hand along the side of your face, “We can discuss our deal another time, I just need to make sure that you’re settled in and nothing’s gone wrong after your arrival.”

Why was Lucifer being nice to you all of the sudden? He should be berating you for dying, but he now had access to both your soul and your powers, he just had to decide which one of them he would be taking.
