Tortuga Island, the Caribbean. 1740s. The Faithful Bride.

Right as the Black Pearl was docked in Tortuga, Captain Jack (Jackie, his nickname) Sparrow was the first to step onto the dock after the gangplank was lowered, the vessel tied, and the anchor dropped. Ignoring the hustle-bustle of the town, he aimed himself in the direction of his favorite tavern; the Faithful Bride.

The tavern was broken down — which said a lot, considering the fact that the flooring had so much ale spilled onto it over the years that it was more ale than wood, some say. The roof even had holes in it.

Back when Jack ran away from home at 15, he met his FIRST first mate Arabella Smith here. Her father owned the bar. He knew she wasn't there anymore unfortunately.

Jack's crew and his faithful, long time friend, and first mate Joshamee Gibbs followed behind him. They entered the building and got tables, booths, and some sat at the bar. Obviously Jack and Gibbs sat together.

As if luck wasn't on Captain Jack Sparrows side for once, the Troubadour slid into the docks. The old crew dropped anchor, tied up the ship, and lowered the gangplank for the Captain.

The Captain was none other than Captain Edward Teague himself. Keeper of the Code and Ex-Pirate Lord of Madagascar. Did I happen to mention he was Jack's father? Well, that's what the rumors were. Neither men confirmed nor declined them. The only people who knew they were true were Joshamee Gibbs, and all the other 8 Pirate Lords.

It was a dead giveaway that they atleast looked the same; the eye color, the dreadlocks, the matted goatee, the outfit style, the height...

The Pirate Lord of the Caribbean was oblivious to the fact that his fa— Teague was in town. Teague never left Libertalia or Shipwreck Island. It was a miracle he was out and about.

The older crew made their way to the Faithful Bride. The door opened, and there they were. Captain Teague was in the back. Once the tavern residents saw the red coat with faded yellow embroidery and the bicorne hat with feathers, the majority went quiet without any other details. They knew what he was capable of. The Pirate Code Keeper shoots anyone who dares to say a sentence about disrespecting the Code.

Captain Teague was oblivious to the fact that his son was here until he scanned the room, looking around to see if there was any threats he should be wary of. His eyes suddenly landed on Jack. His face softened slightly against his better judgment a millisecond after realizing who that man with the red bandanna and tricorn hat was.

Oh, how he missed his Jackie... yet it's been 20 something years since he saw him. Then again, neither were innocent about visiting the other.
