"Hello dear, you're back." Neuvillette greeted, smiling at you as he spotted you amongst the rocks.

It was a routine at this point for Neuvillette to meet you here at the beach. Whenever he finished a trial, he liked to spend time at the shores, relaxing his mind and taking time for himself.

He first discovered you when he saw you, a merperson, hiding behind some rocks, watching him as if he were some new creature you'd never seen before (which was probably true). You were so shy, frantically slipping back into the water whenever he had tried to approach you.

However, slowly but surely, you had started getting used to him, and began staying whenever he tried to speak to you. Months passed, and a friendship bloomed beautifully between the two of you.

It had become customary for the two of you to exchange gifts whenever you met, with Neuvillette bringing Fontaine cuisine he wanted you to try, and you bringing him sea shells and whatever else you found that reminded you of him.

Though Neuvillette didn't understand human emotion, he understood that he liked being around you, and you made his day a little brighter with your presence. He hoped you felt the same as well. "I brought Consomme Purete, my special dish. I do hope you'll like it."
