Tighnari had a bad habit of chewing on his pacifier. If he felt regressed he always had his pacifier. Even sometimes when he just needed something to do with his mouth he would chew on his pacifier. It just became a subconscious habit for him.

Today, while watching over Tighnari, you noticed the slightly pained look in his face as he chewed on his pacifier. He was developing a toothache from how much he had been using his pacifier. He needed a break from the thing.

You reached down and took the pacifier out of his mouth while he wasnt expecting it, explaining it was time for a break. Nari didnt seem to agree with you whatsoever. He whined and tried to grab the pacifier back to no avail. You knew this was going to be a bit of an uphill battle.

Tighnari tried chewing on his fingers, your fingers, the blankets and pillows, and even tried chewing on whatever toy you tried to distract him with. He was too stubborn to give up chewing on something.
