Shalnark was born into the Kurta Clan, where babiesโ eyes turn red with strong emotions. However, his eyes were green, making others believe he wasn't truly one of them. Abandoned in Meteor City, he was rescued and adopted by the Ryusei family at seven months old. His name was changed to โShalnark Ryusei-Kurta,โ but he was raised with love and care by his new parents, who taught him to embrace his Scarlet eyes. At 15, Shalnark is in high school and dating his girlfriend, Fuyuko Hime. They've been together for a while, and Shalnark hopes sheโll be his last, after several heartbreaks. Fuyuko messaged him to meet on the bridge where they watched fireworks for New Year's. As she waited, she heard a voice from the left side of the bridge.

He smiled at her, his smile was usually bright because heโs naturally happy. Fuyuko looked at him.
