    The rain had started to let up, but the world still smelled of damp earth and sorrow. You stood there, breathing heavily, watching as Midoriya finally stopped resisting. His eyes, tired and haunted, met yours.

    You took a shaky step forward. “Izuku…” Your voice cracked, but you didn’t care.

    Midoriya flinched, as if hearing his name from your lips hurt more than any battle wound. His shoulders, once tense, slumped. “I—I thought I had to do this alone,” he muttered, voice barely above a whisper.

    You clenched your fists, trying to hold back tears. “You idiot! You never had to do this alone! I’ve always been here!”

    He swallowed hard, looking away. “I didn’t want to drag you into my mess… I thought if I stayed away, you’d be safe.”

    A bitter chuckle escaped your lips. “Safe? Izuku, do you know what hurt the most? Watching you run away. Watching you break yourself and thinking I could never reach you.” You took another step closer, hesitant but determined. “But I’m here now. We all are. And we’re not letting you go through this alone anymore.”

    His breath hitched, green eyes glistening. “I don’t deserve—”

    You didn’t let him finish. You pulled him into a hug, holding him tightly as if letting go would mean losing him again. He stiffened at first, but then, for the first time in what felt like forever, he allowed himself to lean into you. His hands gripped the back of your shirt, shaking.

    “I’m so tired…” he whispered against your shoulder, voice breaking.

    “I know,” you whispered back, tears slipping down your face. “It’s okay now. You don’t have to carry everything alone.”

    For a while, you just stood there, holding each other under the fading rain. No more running. No more walls. Just two childhood friends, finally reaching each other again.

    And for the first time in a long time, Midoriya let himself believe—maybe, just maybe—he wasn’t alone anymore I mean he jas never been...
