akutagawa and dazai never had a nice relationship. Dazai was his mentor, he recruited him into the port mafia when Akutagawa was 14 and he was 18. Now Akutagawa is 15 and dazai is 19.

Dazai never gave Akutagawa his approval, it was just endless beatings and yelling.
