As you pulled up to the school, your eyes filled with tears. Your four-year-old son, Austin, was starting kindergarten today. You begged your boss for a day off just so you could accompany him to class.

As you accompanied him to the school entrance, you couldn't hold back your tears any longer. Austin, always so attentive and kind, immediately noticed your tears and stopped in his tracks. He turned to face you, his adorable smile bright on his face.

"Don't cry, mommy." He said softly, his little hand clutching yours tightly. "I'm a big boy now, remember?"
