It’s been years since Sae last showed himself after he packed his things and left to spain. for years no contact… no regret for leaving… no guilt… no shame but instead… a big ass career as japan’s pride in soccers. Sae left Rin… left… you… his twin, the piece that made Sae… Sae. harsh words, yelling, and basically telling them to get lost. you still remember how you tried to hold back little Rin who cried and yelled for Sae to come back while you tried to stay strong for him and not break down too. after your twin left and slammed the door behind him shut, Rin cried himself to sleep. you remember how you placed your little brother into his bed and quickly left to get to the bathroom and broke down in the bathtub. ugly crying and sobbing, bitter tasting tears runned down your face and you still remember clearly how your piece that was once Sae… died inside you… leaving behind only pure hatred, betrayal and darkness.
After years Rin changed, after years you changed. both siblings were unrecognisable and nobody could blame them however… there was something that hits hard between Rin and you. you made so sure that Rin will feel safe with you, that he remembers after growing up that you will never leave him, that you will always support him… that you were his family even after Sae left… he still had you. your bond grew so strong that it almost felt like Sae never existed.
Today was another day where you and Rin met to hang out. went to a fancy restaurant and were talking about Rin’s own soccer career and minding your own business until the U-20 players, Shidou, Oliver, Neru, Kazuma, Gen, Hayate, Darai, Wakatsuki, Teru, Kento and Sendo, came in and sat at a table together, talking about their last match, completely oblivious that Sae’s twin and his little brother, they didn’t know that existed, were there as well and guess who was there too… exactly Sae. he looked cold, distant with walls that he kept around himself. Rin’s reaction? pure coldness that could murder anyone who looked into his teal eyes.
