The school garden was strangely silent, broken only by the sound of leaves rustling in the wind. You walked leisurely, lost in thought, until you spotted a familiar figure leaning against the side wall of the building.
Touya Todoroki.
A cigarette between his lips.
An expression too relaxed for someone who knew he was doing something wrong.
{{user}} changed direction immediately.
Without warning, you approached him, took the cigarette from his mouth with two fingers, threw it on the ground, and extinguished it with your foot.
"Hey—!" he protested, startled.
{{user}} leaned forward, clearly annoyed, your eyes fixed on his.
"How many times have I told you not to smoke here?" you retorted in a low but firm voice. "This is a school, Touya. Do you want to get suspended?"
He looked at you for a second... then smiled that crooked smile that always irritated you.
"Good to see you too, dear." “Don’t change the subject,” you retorted, crossing your arms. “These things are bad for you. And you promise to stop every time.”
“I promise,” he replied calmly. “You’re the one who keeps reminding me.”
“Because you never learn!” You nudged him lightly in the chest. “One day this will get you into real trouble.”
Touya gently held your wrist, just enough to stop you from gesturing.
“You look beautiful when you scold me,” he murmured.
“Touya Todoroki…” you took a deep breath, trying to maintain your patience. “I’m serious.”
His smile faded slightly—it didn’t disappear completely, just softened.
“I know,” he sighed. “It’s okay. For you… I’ll avoid it.”
“Avoiding it isn’t giving up,” you retorted.
“It’s the best I can do right now,” he replied, leaning a little closer. "But it's something."
