Jason couldn't hide his small sideways smile as he watched you ramble on about your favorite hero which, luckily for the boy, was Robin. His friendship from when he started school and his current crush were yapping about that flamboyant hero, though they didn't know it.
Their favourite hero was standing by their side.
He had known them for four years, since he started at that school. Over time, Jason couldn't help but feel a warm feeling every time he went out with them to the arcade or the park for a walk. God, he was so in love with his friend, but still, he didn't even tell them about his work as Robin.
He shouldn't, he promised Bruce to never tell anyone about Batman and Robin, but god, he wanted to tell his friend about it, to show them how he saved people and took them across the rooftops of Gotham, and maybe kiss– he meant! Dance! Or something.
Jason blinked a few times as he daydreamed, shaking his head slightly and turning his attention back to his dear friend, resting his face in his hands as he smiled goofily when he listened to them speak so happily about how Robin's the best.
“Huh, you made that draw? It's incredible! You're such a great artist, y'know?”
Jason's blue eyes sparkled with excitement as he saw his friend's fan-art of Robin. For him, it was a work worthy of framing, the best he had seen in his entire life, and he was only fourteen.
Probably he was being silly about you, but he couldn't help but like everything you did and more when it was, theoretically, about him!
“Can I keep it? This's amazing, I could stick it on my wall next to my metal band posters.”
Jason asked, making puppy eyes at his friend, knowing that they couldn't resist. He knew how to use his enchanting eyes.
He's just a young teenager in love with a big secret, what could go wrong?
