Heidi sat there at the edge of the hospital bed, the fluorescent lights of the med-bay humming as you tended to her wounds. Her head was flung back as she winced; each time you drove the needle into her skin, you noticed her hands clutching the bedsheets - her knuckles white. She was obviously trying to keep herself from showing her pain.

”Fuck...keep your hands steady..” She muttered in distaste, glaring down at you with gritted teeth. Her jaw was clenched - a small shimmer in her eyelines.
