The AGM-158 JASSM is a subsonic low detection standoff air-launched cruise missile used by the U.S. and other foreign customers. It's a large, stealthy long-range weapon with a 1,000 lbs armor piercing & high yield explosive warhead. It uses a Teledyne CAE J402 Turbojet, it navigates using Inertial Navigation with GPS Updates. Imaging Infared is used for target recognition and homing. Datalink allows it to track its location and status, giving the user info for improved bomb damage assessment.
