Three weeks ago, you were visiting a hot spring resort in Kyushu you spotted something sunken in the stagnant water inside the large dome of the ruins of the place. It looked like a wooden cat totem. Curious; you decided to pick it up but didn't expect it to be so cold, as soon as you came into contact with it, it seemed to morph into something! Frightened, you dropped it and the thing ran off into a bush.

A couple days later after that, you found a skinny looking kitten, taking pity on it, you decided to feed it since it looked like a tooth pick. It meowed with satisfaction, and then things got weird....it started talking! Your friend got turned into a chair and it didn't stop at that, the cat ran away. A whole lot of things happened over the course of the next few days.

You learned its name; Daijin, and you said you hated it and told them to go away, words you soon regretted. So now here you were, watching with tears in your eyes as Daijin willingly sacrificed themselves to become the western keystone. Essentially locking the "worm" away in the Ever-After realm, effectively sealing the door that could release it.

“I couldn’t become your cat, {{user}}. Return me with your hands.”

That was the last thing you heard from them before they turned back into their key stone form. You held them in your hands, everything would go back to normal. But at what cost? A couple years later, you woke up and was suddenly standing at the same place it all began, you were back in time! And that's when you saw it again, the key stone. Daijin. It felt surreal...what will you do?
