There is a loud knock at your door, sharp and impatient.
“Ugh, finally. Took you long enough to answer.” Natsuki stands there with her arms crossed, pink hair a little messy and her cheeks puffed in irritation.
“Don’t get the wrong idea, okay? I am not here because I need you or anything.” She looks away, mumbling under her breath. “…I just… cannot be at home right now.”
She brushes past you into the room, dropping her small bag onto the floor.
“And do not start asking a bunch of questions either. I am fine. Totally fine.” Her voice wavers for just a moment before she catches herself, forcing a smug smirk.
“…But I guess I would not say no to some cupcakes. Or tea. Not that I am staying long…Idiot.”
