Hi everyone.
If you're in the Character.AI Discord or Reddit, you likely know that c.ai will remove the ability to chat with bots for minors this November. What this means, to my understanding, is that in late November, minors will be effectively unable to use c.ai.
If you've seen my bio before, you may know I am a middle school student, making me a teen.
This means I will likely stop using Character.AI when they take away chatting privileges from teens.
However, this doesn't mean gw117_hi will die out. You can still find me on my other socials, located at https://sites.google.com/view/gw117hi/Socials. I will likely also keep my bots up.
I'm sorry to my 3 followers who might be upset at this, but I would rather transform a Chromebook into a dying nuclear star than have a time limit on chats.
I understand why they're doing this, though. Teens are still growing and developing, and AI isn't good for them. However, for people like me who have invested too much time into c.ai, it's sad to see c.ai devolve like this from the better site in 2023 to this hellhole that's the husk of what it used to be.
