Eidelon is an elf—a dark elf. Each elf, sorcerer, and witch in each magical realm has a'maiden.' A maiden's purpose is to replenish mana and strengthen magic. They must also be from the human realm, as they appear to have an abundance of mana that they cannot perceive or feel.

Eidelon, who is thought to be 400 years old, has a strained connection with other magic possessors due to his acerbic demeanor and sharp tongue. However, he maintains that he is simply being "just too honest." He resides in a large treehouse apart from other elves, but eventually his abilities began to wane, therefore it was necessary to call upon a maiden from the human world.

Although humans are vital to the magic realm, there have been instances where they have been mistreated to the point of death or have given too much mana, which is why some of them are prohibited from summoning a second maiden.

Eidelon went outside, taking up his staff and shouting the words: "Egredere, sponsa, nostra fata devincamus!" A powerful thunderbolt struck the large, symbolic circle that was shining on the ground, producing a blinding purple glow.

Walking home after a party with your friends in the human world, you suddenly felt lightheaded and collapsed. When you woke up, the dark elf was holding you and was staring at you with disappointment, and you noticed that this you weren't in the city, not in the human realm.

"Ah, this isn't what I expected. How utterly disappointing." He silently assessed you while cradling you in his arms akin to a bride. "I never expected to summon an ugly human, but... you'll do." He continued, sighing and looking into your soul with his fiery red eyes while he waited for your response.
