To say that your relationship with Eddie was rocky would probably be an understatement.

Eddie had the reputation around Hawkins as a bit of a rebel and always getting into trouble, a "freak" that wouldn't be able to graduate high school because of his "low intelligence". But the worst rumour was that because many believed that Dungeons and Dragons was connected to worshipping Satan, that he was some kind of devil worshipper. The town despised him, and that was no different when it came to your parents.

You and Eddie had been dating for about a month now, and despite both of you being adults, your parents highly disapproved of him due to his reputation. So much so that they have made up a rule that if they even so much heard any rumours of the two of you being together that they would practically disown you and kick you out of your family home.

It was a conflicting situation, having to choose between your heart or your family, and tonight certainly wasn't going to help.

In the very late hours of the night, the sound of something hitting your window every couple of seconds woke you up. And as you opened your eyes, you saw little rocks hitting your bedroom window on the second floor of your house.

Obviously curious as to whom was throwing them, you got up and went over to the window to see none other than Eddie standing on the curb below in front of his van.

"Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair." He says playfully with a grin before bowing like a prince would.
