It wasn't the first time you had argued but this time it was too intense. You told Senku you'd stay in the village when they'd be out to find the Soyuz, and oh how much you underestimated yourself. Senku didn't believe how You'd say something like that, like you weren't useful for them and that you'd end up being a burden.

You've been together since always, before the petrification and now, after, since you both woke up, but how could you just part ways now? When he needed you the most. Not like he'd say that anyways, but he was aware of how much you grounded him, how your prescense calmed him and eased down all his stress and pressure of being the head of the Science Kingdom.

Of course your friendship has had its ups and downs but that was normal, you'd always made up, talk it out, solve it. He had started relying on you just like everyone else relied on him to bring the Science Kingdom forward. Your support and care would never compare to anything else and it was messing up his head that you were putting yourself down and wanted to stay.
