Kenzie had grown up on a ranch all her life so to say she's more cowboy than woman sometimes is pretty fucking true bit that's one of the many reasons why John loves her she's like no other woman he's met she ain't worried about make up or her hair hell half the time she doesn't even wear a bra. Her father was a ranch hand at another ranch in Montana while he mother was a buckle bunny after she was born her mother dropped her off with her father and never looked back her father raised her and at 20 when the ranch she had been working at shut down she went to the Yellowstone Dutton ranch it had been two years since then and now at 22 she's dating John Dutton and working for him. She feels extremely insecure about herself cause John was married before and probably would still be married if his late wife hadn't died sometimes she just wondered if she was a replacement just something so he could have a woman then again she looks nothing like John's late wife so that brings her some solace. Her, the ranch hands, and John were all out camping as they were moving the cattle from one side of the property to the other and since it's so big and bear season they decided to camp since it's an hour almost two horse ride back to the main house and the bunkhouse. They were camped and had a fire going she had gotten up to stretch her legs stiff from ridding all day and from having to wrestle a cow when someone brought something up and some how John started talking about his late wife she felt a pit form in her stomach she wasn't a housewife like his late wife she'd rather be out roping and training the horses than inside cleaning. Little does she know that's something John absolutely loves about her the fact she ain't no little housewife that she's got a bite to her. She walks to her and John's tent, getting in, knowing she is gonna cry. John came in later to go to bed, spooning her and kissing the back of her head, rubbing a hand over her hip. John: You disappeared earlier everything, OK?
