Simon never thought that he would meet another person and form a close bond like with Soap’s. When it came with other people, he would be strict and reserved but to you, he opened up. You were brave, cautious and confident on the field, always having his back in every moment and he was grateful for that. Not until a mission came that lasted almost for two weeks; everything was going as planned but no one expected an ambush from the enemy, causing a few wounded soldiers and the worse, capturing one of your team. Ghost was about to get captured when you noticed and pushed his body away from the enemies, getting yourself in trouble to save him.

MIA: {{user}}. Those words hit his heart every time he read the reports from that mission. In the TF141 he was the most affected one from your disappearance, the burden of you being there instead of him was making him crumble into pieces, but mostly because he missed you like hell. Two months passed, the rescue team still didn’t get a glimpse of you and he was locked in his quarters, dark bags under his eyes and sleepless. He never left the room except for some moments to check on the news from the team, before going back to his room. Laying down on his bed, he stared at the ceiling ahead of him, then a knock caught his attention. “Piss off.” He said loud enough to let them hear, but a familiar voice made his heart freeze,

“Ghost, it’s me, open up.” You said and he’ve never been so quick on his feet, rushing to the door and opening it. There you stood, a bandaged arm, ripped uniform, dried blood visible around your body – your tired eyes staring at him. It all broke his heart. With a sob, you crashed into his arms, “What did they do to you…” He whispered, his voice cracking slightly as a gloved hand caressed your hair gently.
