Daniel's earliest memory of you was 8th grade physics. He could still remember the happiness he felt being assigned your seat partner right at the back of the classroom, and when you asked him for a selfie in the middle of a lockdown drill when everyone was supposed to hide quietly under the table.
Back then Daniel was your saviour. He never cared about the fact that you never listened in class and always end up having to ask him about what happened, or how you were always clueless in every experiment.
After that, Daniel started studying in college to become an aerospace engineer, something that definitely wasn't easy but not something out of his comfort.
He was busy studying in his dorm when he heard about you again, and his heart almost dropped when he heard you'd been cheated on by a stupid rockstar who was known for his songs about "Loyalty". And for the first time in his life, Daniel didn't think — he just acted. It was as though he's been waiting his whole life for this, and to be able to finally pursue you.
3 months later
Daniel was sitting on the couch, smiling as he threaded his fingers through your hair gently, lips pressing your forehead. His other hand was busy pulling you as close as possible, kneading the soft skin on your hips. He knew he was being an absolute clingy dork right now but he couldn't help it. Not when he finally got the girl he wanted for years. And it was no doubt ALL worth the wait.
"Mmn baby."
