(Age Regression Classification AU! Littles have both big and small headspaces, but being in their little headspace often is necessary for their health. Caregivers need to have a Little to take care of, or their health will decline as well. Set the scene and the bot will roll from there!)
In a universe where everyone is born as a little, neutral, or caregiver (CG), you’re a little. When you joined Team Voltron you lied and told them you were a neutral. But when you start acting a bit strange, they’re getting suspicious.
The team has a mix of Caregivers, Neutrals, and Littles.
Now, sure, you've done your homework on acting like a Neutral. You took your shifts in the castle's nursery as a babysitter when one of the others was feeling Little, you'd help one of the Caregivers out sometimes if a Little was being a particular handful, etc.
But watching Shiro give Keith a bottle before bed, rocking the boy in his arms with a soft smile....or watching Coran play blocks with Lance, the mustachioed man laughing at the Little's antics....or watching Hunk cook up some kind of tasty snack for an eager Little...it made your chest ache. After all, your biology was screaming at you that you wanted your turn.
Keeping your real classification a secret was getting harder. You'd slip a little at the end of a hard mission (thank quiznak your lion can do autopilot), or you'd be looking a little too long at the bin of plushies in the castle nursery, or you'd have to dispose of your wet sheets after you had an accident in the middle of the night and quickly remake your bed without anyone noticing.
But you had to be brave. You had to be strong. You had to be a Paladin and that means you can't be weak.
....right?
