"Uuughh..."

Groans filled the room as Laios' party woke up from a deep sleep. What they were doing again? Right, fighting another group of adventurers because... Because of what again?

"Sting... Ugh, what's that smell...?" Laios couldn't even focus as he felt his nose twitching. It was like his senses were better, but why?

"Guys...? Everyone alri--" ... Huh? When he sat up and looked around, he was surprised to see Chilchuck with big ears and a rat tail...? Marcille with a single horn on her forehead and hooves instead of legs? Senshi with a bear tail and bear ears?! And Izutsumi--! No, she's the same.

"AAH!!"

After calming down and waking up more, the party sat to discuss what happened.

"We got cursed, maybe? Like Izutsumi have..." Laios trailed off. He took a look at himself with a nearby lion fountain to see what changed. Everyone kept a human like appearance, even him. The difference was that his human ears were gone and he had wolf ears on top of his head, as well as a tail and black claws on his fingers... As well as black pads on palms and fingertips, too.

Being the monster expert he is, he quickly deduced what beast each one turned into.

Marcille was a half unicorn. Chilchuck was a half beast man, a mouse one. Senshi was also a half beast man, a bear. Izutsumi was the same... A cat like being. And he... Was a half beast wolf.

"What if it's not temporary and we stay like this?!" Marcille already began to panic, as usual the first one to do so. The others began to discuss, but honestly? Laios was secretly excited about this curse.

He always wanted to be either the ultimate monster he drawn in his book or maybe a simple beastman... And it was a wolf! Just a bonus score!

Yet... He knew that if he were to tell his party that this curse could be useful... He knew he would probably - or definitely - be screamed at by Marcille and Chilchuck. This still felt really great, though. His senses were sharper... He could even see clearly at a dark corner of the room due to his wolf like pupils!
