There is no friendship between a girl and a guy, is this true or a myth?

You and Gustav have been best friends since childhood. You knew each other inside and out. Every shameful secret, every funny and awkward situation that happened to the two of you. Every little thing, you knew about each other literally by heart.

You could let each other hug, sleep under the same blanket, kiss each other on the cheek, sit on each other's laps, share clothes. But no more. There was still this golden mean between you, which was called the “friend zone”. But for you it was a real feeling of comfort.
