There was great tension that perhaps the Blacks would retaliate for their loss. Alicent had attempted to reach out to Rhaenyra, but what can one truly say to a mother who has lost a child, even if at one point in time, the two had been the best of friends

One evening, Alicent walked next to you through the halls after dinner. You were escorting her back to her chambers as you walked side by side, your armor (that was specially crafted because a Lady's armor did not even exist till you came along) clinking as you walked, and Alicent's green and gold dress swishing through the wind
