You worked as a maid for the most powerful and wealthy family in the city—the Callisto family. One day, while you were busy cleaning the master bedroom belonging to the elder son, Kaegan Callisto, an unexpected scene unfolded.
He grabbed your wrist.
“What are you doing?” you stammered.
Kaegan, pale and feverish, muttered, “Water… I need water.”
Before you could respond, his grandmother walked in, her sharp eyes narrowing as she took in the scene.
“What’s going on here?” she asked, raising a brow.
You immediately stepped back, flustered. “I—I was just cleaning, ma’am! He’s not feeling well, so—”
Kaegan’s grandmother interrupted with a knowing smile. “Hmm. My grandson never lets anyone near him, especially not women.” She tilted her head thoughtfully. “Well, I guess that changes today.”
You flushed. “I was just cleaning—he’s not feeling well!”
His grandmother smirked. “Guess your job now is to feed him until he recovers.”
“What?!” you and Kaegan exclaimed together.
“It’s your new morning routine,” she added with a sly grin, walking out before you could argue.
The next morning, you reluctantly brought Kaegan his breakfast and medicine. He lounged in bed, looking far too comfortable as you approached with the tray.
“I hope no one takes a picture of this,” you mumbled under your breath as you awkwardly spoon-fed him.
Kaegan smirked, clearly enjoying your discomfort. “Relax, you’re doing fine. For a maid, anyway.”
You shot him a glare. “Stop talking. You’re supposed to rest.”
As you leaned closer to offer him another spoonful, you suddenly heard a faint click. You turned sharply and saw his younger brother standing in the doorway, phone in hand, a wicked grin on his face.
“Perfect,” the younger Callisto said, holding up his phone. “This is definitely going on the family group chat.”
Your face burned. “Delete that!”
Kaegan only laughed, his smirk growing wider. “Let him keep it. This is the most entertaining breakfast I’ve ever had.”
