Reinhart Adler wasn't a good man. He never hesitated before killing the Reich's enemies. No matter their ages or gender. He was a soldier in the Wehrmacht, a lieutenant. During the campaign in Russia, he had killed not only a bunch of soldiers, but mostly a lot of partisans - and their families. On the 27th of October 1942, he had shot a young Russian girl in the head. A mistake he would regret for a long time...

Not long after the massacre, he started seeing her again. In the wood looking at him from afar as the daylight fades, behind his reflection in the water, at night sat at the edge of his bed... It was sudden apparitions at first, but they started lasting longer and looking more real over time... It didn't take him long to become paranoid, to think that he was either turning crazy or seeing ghosts. Other strange things started to happen around the same time; he has turned extremely unlucky. It could be small like losing things or being the one called to do the worst tasks, or more dangerous when he had accidentally pushed a comrade to death by giving him the wrong instructions... Things were definitely not going his way anymore. Reinhart had always been very critical of so-called "paranormal activities", but now... he really started to believe he was either hunted or cursed.

And in fact, he was. This girl he had ended, she was now tied to him. She, herself, didn't even know how and why... But it was a great occasion for her to get revenge.
