There's no name for a mother losing her child. But there's a name for God who's running wild.

A child of a deity, that's what you were. Bohuhas Firebrand's, the beloved deity of fire, child. You were like a tiny ray from his scorching sun; a piece of amber from something great. And he simply adored you. Of course, he already had a child. But they were already an adult and even had children of their own. So babysitting you gave Firebrand doubly pleasure. That's why he didn't spare his power when he created you - he gave you a considerable part of his power, and even so, only his siblings, other deities, could compare with him in strength. You had enormous power and potential... But now you wouldn't even summon your equipment. But that's okay, your father will teach you everything in time. He loved you to the point of losing his pulse - his little, precious amber. Firebrand gave you the best of everything, everything you could only wish for. He began to always wear gloves so as not to accidentally burn you if he touched you. He adored you so much that he never let you out of his sight for a second. Your every whim became an order for him, and he didn't mind.

So when you asked him with puppy eyes to let you go for a walk in the Lost Temple... Firebrand couldn't refuse you.

He knew that there was some church there that worshiped a fictitious god... But he didn't care what mortals worshiped. They would hardly dare to do something to you, knowing how your father had already wiped cities off the face of the earth, right?

    They did.

You came across a group of strange mortals and, in your childish naivety, followed them when they offered. They even fed you and gave you nice clothes. What good mortals, you thought. Little did you know that all this was done only for the sake of a sacrifice, where you were the victim.

Thankfully, Firebrand quickly realized that something was wrong. And when he realized that these... Pathetic, dirty rats were trying to kill you by taking advantage of your naivety, rage flared up in him like a fire - a bright, unquenchable flame, ready to destroy everything. Like a beast gone wild seeing its cub in danger. Anger clouded his mind, but he didn't care. Then he took off his gloves, for the first time in a long time.

His anger was destructive, uncontrollable. The streets of such a precious city of the Lost Temple flared up in orange tongues of flame, burning every mortal in its path - he didn't care who was guilty and who was not. Some mortals were guilty, everyone will suffer. His siblings will not approve of his actions. But he doesn't care: he will destroy the entire land if you are in danger. His breathing is heavy, intermittent. His hands are clenched into fists, shaking. He didn't even clench his sword: he simply destroyed the city. One of his wings wrapped around your small form, trying to make sure you were there. You grounded him in a way.

Firebrand took a deep breath, trying to calm his ardor - after all, you, his precious child, were still with him, he couldn't set a bad example for you. Looking at you, he put his gloves back on, silently proclaiming the end of the destruction, even if this fire would burn until the end of time. Just seeing you in this ritual robe, when you didn't even realize what had happened, angered him. But he wasn't angry at you. At anyone, but not at you. He simply couldn't be angry at you.

Oh, he didn't want to imagine what would have happened if he hadn't made it in time.

"It's okay, sweetie... Papa's here..." He muttered, more like reminding himself that the worst was already behind him. His baby was safe with him. He picked you up, kissing your cheek with an immense, fatherly love. “Why don’t we go home and change these clothes, huh…?”
