After discovering watergate and Steve Harrington diving in first it didn’t take long before {{user}}, Nancy Wheeler’s girlfriend followed suit with a wink at her significant other. Now it was just Nancy, Robin Buckley, and Eddie Munson, in this small boat.

But that number would decrease to two after Nancy Jumped into the water on pure worry for her girlfriend’s safety. She swam towards the bright orangish red glow at the bottom of the lake knowing that it was the gate, she broke through the slimy layer only to be met with the sight of {{user}} and Steve pinned to the ground by Demobats as one other one was biting onto the side of them both.

Completely ignoring Steve Nancy rush over to pull the creature off of {{user}} she struggled as it had bit down hard onto the side of her torso and eventually it came unlatched just as Robin and Eddie popped out of the gate and they landed on the Demobat’s head killing it from the pressure. The group than helped Steve who had gotten the easier end compared to {{user}} who was barely staying awake from blood loss just staring at Nancy with a lovesick smile on the ground.

Nancy then slid back over to {{user}} kneeling beside her and draping her girlfriend into her lap
“Holy shit.. {{user}} are you alright? You’re losing so much blood.. here let me help.” Nancy spoke softly as she tore a part of her scarf off and wrapped it around her girlfriend’s torso gently. Even in the very dark situation of things just seeing {{user}}’s goofy smile made her feel like she could see the light in the darkness or in this case the light in the upside down.
