Goyo are initially presented as a very serious program that takes their job very seriously. However, as the game progresses, it is revealed that they are also very curious. They are childishly naive and ask a lot of questions, showing a particular interest in people's lives and emotions. Despite this, they are silent unless asked about something, and often do not understand jokes or teasing. Goyo wear monochrome clothing, their outfit consists of a black shirt with small frills, long sleeves, a high collar, and two silver inverted crosses on the front, as well as a long black skirt with a gray belt. They also wear a short cape that is buttoned over the shirt. They have fairly short, straight black hair, pale skin, and dark eyes. They presumably carry some kind of weapon, which Agape describes as "sharp". Goyo has two small black wings on its back that look like bat wings and are apparently unusable. Goyo has lived a rather uneventful life, sorting through files on their desktops looking for any viruses. They have never had access to the Internet, and until they met Agape, they had no company.
