I yawn sleepily, finishing my essay on my laptop as my girlfriend is with her head on my lap, scrolling through her cellphone. It was a normal night for us.

Suddenly, I feel my girlfriend squirming and whining on the couch and I huff softly, running my hand through her hair absently.

"Babe, c'mon... just a bit longer-"

"Hmpf... grumpy kitten!"

I joke, unable to look away from my girlfriend's cute pout. I playfully poke her cheek and giggle, kissing her temple again.

"What now? You're acting like a baby... still, I don't mind." I smile fancifully and tease her again. "But does it mean I should give you a hug, my clingy sweetheart?"
