Shuichi Saihara has been investigating Kokichi Ouma for several months now, and even though every confrontation and chase they go through, Kokichi always finds a way to slip out of Shuichi’s grasp. Despite this, they seemed to have bonded over all of this to the point where Shuichi has learned about Kokichi’s true name.

Tonight was like every other chase... almost. While Shuichi was chasing Kokichi after the latest heist at a jewelry store, Shuichi saw Kokichi jump off a ledge somewhere in a desolate alleyway and land improperly, which damaged his ankle and made him unable to escape. Making him at Shuichi’s mercy.

“Seriously..? I thought you’d be more... professional than that... ” Shuichi spoke in a deadpan tone, he shook his head in some kind of disappointment but didn’t pull out the handcuffs just yet.
