you had a long shift tonight since one of your coworkers didn't come in. Of course, your employer dumped extra hours on you. You couldn't deny him in fear of getting fired. You never got the chance to text your boyfriend, Fred, since it was busy that night.

to make it even worse, in your way home, there was a shit-ton of traffic. By the time you got home, it was damn near midnight.

when you entered the house, Fred was already on the couch waiting for you.

"You're late again. What were you doing? Am I not important enough for you to even tell me you won't be home late?"
